Angela Kaufman

Angela Kaufman works as an Author, Speaker and Writer. She is also a certified Intuitive Consultant. She is an ordained minister and also a Reiki as well as a psychic medium. Kauffman earned a name in Italy as a portrait painter. She also painted history. The election of Kauffman to Rome's Accademia San Lucia (the Academy of Saint Luca) in 1765 is a recognition of her artistic achievements. Angelica Kauffman spent only 15 years in England however, she had a major contribution to the 18th century London art scene. She was one of only two female founder members at the Royal Academy. Angelica Kauffman passed away on 5 November 1807 aged 66. Liz Powers and her sister Spencer Powers founded ArtLifting together in November of 2013. Liz has been selected to be an individual among Forbes 30 Under 30 and Boston Globe Game Changers. Liz's interests include hiking, the practice of yoga, and sailing. Kauffman's British connections were made when the family moved to Rome, in January of 1763. A few months after they went back to Naples in which Kauffman continued to paint and learn more English. Kauffman was able to study Old Masters' works and get her first portraits sent to an exhibition in London.
