Mary McCormack

Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her portrayals as a central character in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. She is also popular for her film roles in "Private Parts", "Deep Impact', 'True crime and 1408'. The daughter of a medical counselor and ice cream restaurant owner, McCormack hails from a family that is not directly connected to the entertainment field. She went to Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce from her parents around the year 1990 followed by a trip to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in comparative art. It was at 12 years old by performing in the stage production "Amahl & the Night Visitors,' a Christmas operetta. McCormack continued to appear in the theatre, and eventually landed roles both on small and the big screens. McCormack is now recognized as one of the world's greatest actors.
